The eHungry.com system is designed to easily allow you to customize the way it looks in some ways. You may upload your own custom logo, change the foreground and background colors of many page elements, and even get complete customization with templates. (This last option requires us to be involved and also carries an additional one-time fee.)
Logos
To upload your own logo, you must be logged in as a restaurant manager. Once logged in, click on "Settings" in the upper-right corner of your browser window. The first option on that page is to upload your custom logo. Logos must be in JPEG, GIF, or PNG format. You cannot upload other image formats, or document formats such as PDF. Most browsers can only reliably support the JPEG, GIF, or PNG formats reliably.
Your logo should be no wider than 400 pixels and no taller than 100 pixels. If it is larger than these dimensions, our system will resize your image. If you are not pleased with the way our system resizes your image, please be sure to edit the image yourself prior to uploading with a graphics program such as Adobe Photoshop in order to ensure best results.
Colors and Fonts
Also on the "Settings" page, you can change the colors used for the foreground, background, and various font colors used to present your Website. You may use hte colors picker tool to choose colors, or you may manually enter the Hexadecimal values of colors you want to use if you know them. You may also select a different font family for your site.
Home Page Content
At the very bottom of the "Settings" page, you can provide different content to be displayed on your eHungry.com homepage. This content should be entered as HTML content, not as plain text. Also, script elements and client-side script is not permitted and will not be accepted by the system. If you leave this content text box empty, your homepage will not be shown to customers. Instead, they will be taken directly to your menu page when they first visit your Website.
Custom Templates
If these customization options are not enough to satisfy your needs, you have one additional, very powerful option for customizing how your ordering website looks. Custom Templates provide nearly total control over the look-and-feel of your Website. If you have an existing Website that you want to emulate, this is the option for you. We can usually match an existing or desired look-and-feel very closely, giving your customers a seamless experience when transitioning between that Website and your eHungry.com Website.
The process usually involves you providing us with either a graphic mockup of the desired look-and-feel, or the actual HTML and CSS documents necessary to implement the custom design. You must also supply any custom graphics that you wish to use. If you do not have an existing design and simply want us to create a brand new design from scratch for you, we can do that too.
The one-time fees for a custom template start at $300.00. If you have an especially challenging design or require other special needs, such as dealing with Adobe Flash components, that fee will usually be higher. In those cases, we will provide you with a custom quote based upon your particular needs. However, generally, we are able to accommodate most requests for a custom template for the single $300.00 fee.
